Chiller Emergency Breakdown Services.
No one likes a breakdown. This is normally a stressful situation. Production may well have stopped and urgent action is required. Typically we would look to give telephone support in the first instance following up with a site visit the next working day. The chiller is designed to protect itself, so where it detects operations outside of its allowable range it will shutdown and await an intervention to resolve the issue. Some of these interventions do not require a service engineer. The primary tool for detecting what has gone worng with the chiller is to look at the alarm log on the controller. You may need the chiller manual to decipher the alarm log. When considering the alarm log it is important to scroll back through the previous alarms as typically alarms will occurr in a group and to be able to properly diagnose the problem it is important to know all the alarms that have been notified. |
